To find out how it works in detail, check out the video embedded at the right →. If you are already familiar with Notion, a read through info boxes like this one will be sufficient.
Welcome to the areas section, where you can define your own categories for your tasks. Inside of each section, you will find all your tasks from that area in a board, where you can easily pick them up and drag them to complete them.

See all your tasks and their due dates, as well as additional information like priority. In the archive, you will find all tasks in the system.

Additional tips: I have linked my google calendar to this database with the integration software make, to do the same yourself you can look at how it is set up in the youtube video. It enables all calendar events to automatically become tasks in the system. This made me much more likely to actually use this Notion page. The template features the framework to implement the system with your existing systems through relations. For example, my content schedule has a button property in it with which I can automatically create a new task to upload content. This will also rollup the upload date of the media, meaning higher levels of automation. Feel free to link this template in a similar manner to your existing systems, whether it be a university schedule, business page or workout tracker. You can remove the info boxes once you have read through them.
And most importantly: Have fun with the template!
